PT. Petrogas Jatim Utama (Perseroda) has been taking the role since 2016 to support the distribution of gas for state power plants in East Java by utilizing transmission pipes.
This is an effort of PT. PJU to play an active role in realizing energy security and independence as well as increasing the added value of environmentally sound energy and minerals to provide the greatest benefit for the people’s prosperity.
In line with the development of downstream oil and gas business, PT. PJU also conducts joint operations in trading LPG, Condensate & HSD, as well as to strengthen the distribution business line of PT. PJU already has SPPBE (LPG Bulk Filling and Transport Station) and plans to develop potential Non-Subsidized SPPBE in strategic areas.
Looking ahead, PT. PJU conducts a feasibility study on each new business development plan, taking into account aspects of business potential and risk; such as the Plant Regasification that is integrated with ports, DME, Mini LNG, Refinery Projects, Digitalization of Marketing Technology in the commercialization of Oil and Gas and innovative Partnerships.
BUSINESS ACTIVITIES
I. BUKIT TUA UTILIZATION GAS TRADING
The Petronas Carigali Ketapang 2 Limited (PCK2L) gas trading project is entering its second year of operation. Project Activities based on the Seller Agreement Letter (SAL) of the Badan Pelaksana Hulu Minyak dan Gas Bumi (BP MIGAS) number KEP-0087 / BP00000 / 2011 / S2 dated July 13, 2011.
BP MIGAS decided and determined “Appoint PCK2L as the KKKS operator in the Ketapang WK as a Natural Gas Seller to carry out the sale and purchase of Natural Gas from Bukit Tua Field with Prospective Natural Gas Buyers, namely PT. PJU in order to meet the electricity needs of the PT. Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PJB)”.
Continuing the PCK2L gas trading project which has been operating since August 2016, in 2017, a planned gas flow that will be sent to the PT. PJB is 43.29 MMSCFD.
PT. PJU has applied for a Dedicated Downstream Natural Gas Trading Permit and a Temporary Natural Gas Trading Permit through a Dedicated Downstream Pipeline issued by the Ditjen Migas Kementerian ESDM dated December 17, 2014;
For the construction of a 16 “pipeline from ORF PCK2L (Maspion Area Manyar Gresik) to PT. PJB Gresik for 20 km, PT. PJU in collaboration with PT. Triguna Internusa Pratama (TIP) as stated in the cooperation agreement dated November 27, 2013.
The construction of the pipeline is currently operated with “gas in gas PCK2L” on 11 August 2016, assuming 2016 gas flow is 12.25 MMSCFD.
II. LPG PLANT
The LPG Plant project is located in the Manyar Gresik industrial area, to process gas from PCK2L before it is sent to the PT. PJB. The treatment is intended to separate the contents of LPG and condensate in the gas.
For the construction of LPG Plant, PT. PJU cooperates with Business Partners with a profit sharing system as stipulated in the KSO agreement dated 24 December 2013.
III. SPPBE BUSINESS UNIT (LPG Bulk Filling and Transport Station) in Jombang
LPG filling capacity is 26.5 tons / day, or 88.33% in 2015 from the maximum capacity of 30 tons / day (filling fee). This capacity increased in 2016 to 27.6 tons / day, or 92%.
Utilization of a 15,000 kg LPG skid tank vehicle that has been operating since November 2015 (transport fee).
